The Gram Guide

How Much Empress Weft™ Hair Do You Need?

A professional guide to assessing density, desired length, fullness and the right amount of hair for each client.

Ordering the right amount of hair is a consultation skill before it is a product decision. Four factors decide the number.

1. Natural density

Fine or sparse hair requires less weight but more careful placement. Dense hair requires more hair simply to keep the ends looking full alongside the natural hair.

2. Desired length

The longer the extension, the more hair is needed to keep the perimeter from tapering. A client moving from shoulder-length to 24" needs noticeably more than one adding fullness at 16".

3. Fullness goal

  • Subtle fullness — a single refined row.
  • Length and body — two rows, blended through the mid-lengths.
  • Full transformation — multiple rows with graduated widths.

4. Head shape and sectioning

Rows are cut to the client's head, so width — not just weight — determines how much weft is consumed. Always plan the sectioning before you finalise the order.

Order for the finish you promised in the consultation, not the length on the packet.

Available in 16", 18", 22" and 24". If you are unsure, send us the consultation details with your order request and we will advise.
